SPD Recognizes 11 Officers

STARKVILLE, Miss. (Press Release) — The Starkville Police Department today proudly recognized 11 of its officers who were appointed by Chief R. Frank Nichols to the rank of Corporal. Friends, family and employees shared in this occasion to celebrate their accomplishment.

The position of Corporal is reserved for Investigators and Field Training Officers who are appointed by the Chief of Police. With the position of corporal, a 5 percent pay increase is bestowed.

We value all our employees and are especially pleased to see these dedicated Officers meet the challenges presented to them and grow into greater responsibilities.
