Sunday: Things started off fairly calm this morning, but we can expect showers and storms to ramp up during the afternoon and evening hours. We will not be seeing relief from the humidity today with dew points in the low 70s. High temperatures will stay just above the 90 degree mark, but rain-cooled spots could drop into the mid 80s. Overnight lows will be in the low 70s.
Monday: This will be the highest chance of the week for afternoon showers and storms. As usual, these storms will taper off during the night as they lose energy from the heat. Mostly cloudy skies, humid conditions, and highs in the low 90s will continue.
Tuesday-Thursday: Muggy, warm weather will keep highs near 90 degrees and feeling worse. Temperatures will sneak up towards the mid 90s as we move closer to the weekend. In classic Southern summertime fashion, there will be good chance for pop up showers and thunderstorms in the afternoons each day. Thursday will have the most likely chance of being rain-free, though. Overnight low temperatures will stay in the low 70s.
Friday & The Weekend: We can’t rule out a 20% chance of pop up showers, but Friday should follow suit with Thursday in being mostly sunny and dry. High temperatures will be approaching the mid 90s due to all the sunshine. Saturday and Sunday, more cloudy conditions return and pop up showers are a bit more likely. Low temperatures, again, staying in the low 70s.
