Partly to mostly cloudy skies will be the case for far North Mississippi today. Those clouds will also bring a chance for rain, mainly north of US 78. The farther south that you live, especially toward the Golden Triangle and south of Hwy 82, more sun will be seen, and the rain chance will be lower.
For those that get in on a spotty downpour today, no huge rain amount is expected, and everything should stay below severe limits.
The rain threat should exit before any Friday night football games get going. After seeing highs in the low-mid 80s today, outdoor plans tonight look great! We will fall from the 70s to the 60s.
Mostly sunny skies will be the case for Saturday with highs in the middle 80s, and a chance for rain and storms returns on Sunday.
