Starkville Father Booked on Drug Charges

STARKVILLE, Miss. – (PRESS RELEASE) On Wednesday March 11, 2015 Officers with the Starkville Police Department responded to a 911 Hang-up at 309 Reed Rd., Apt 515. Responding officers smelled an odor of marijuana coming from the residence. Based on this probable cause, a search warrant was executed on this residence.

During the execution of this search warrant, a large amount of Xanax, and marijuana was found in the residence, as well as $216.00 US currency. There were also two (2) small children left unattended at the residence, as well.

As a result of the search warrant, Eddie Aquais Sandifer, of 907 Myrick Ave.,Lumberton, MS was charged with Child Endangerment, Trafficking of a Schedule 3 or 4 Narcotic, and
Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute.

Bond has been set at $100,000 for Mr. Sandifer. Mr. Sandifer was currently out on indictment for Sale of Marijuana. This investigation continues and more charges are expected. Anyone with information pertaining to these incidents should call Starkville Police Department at 662-323-4134.
