Video: Starkville Hosts Annual Holiday Shopping Open House

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) — The rainy weather didn’t stop folks from coming out to Starkville’s annual holiday shopping kick-off.

All afternoon, shoppers visited stores on Main Street in downtown Starkville.

The event included refreshments and photos of kids with Santa for just $10.

The Book Mart and Café also hosted a book signing for over a dozen local and regional authors. Organizers say the event gives people a chance to meet the authors they like and support.

The Holiday Shopping open house was sponsored by the Greater Starkville Development Partnership.
