Starkville Man Arrested, Charged with Voyeurism

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) — A Starkville man is behind bars on a voyeurism charge.

Starkville police arrested 37-year-old Melvin Bishop shortly after midnight Wednesday.

Authorities were dispatched to Pecan Acres in reference to a possible peeping tom. The victim gave officers a description of the suspect, which led to Bishop’s arrest.

Bishop was charged with one count of voyeurism, and is currently detained at the Oktibbeha County Jail.

Bishop’s bond was set at $10,000.
