Video: Starkville Police Search for Auto Burglar

STARKVILLE, Miss. – (PRESS RELEASE) The Starkville Police Department would like to make the public aware of an increase in auto burglaries. On Tuesday, February 18th around 4:00am a suspect was caught on surveillance video breaking into several vehicles in the residential area of Lynn Lane. The suspect appears to be targeting vehicles with doors unlocked and valuables such as purses and electronics in plain view.

The Starkville Police Department would like to remind citizens of the importance of locking their vehicle doors and removing valuable items. Typically if the door is locked a burglar will keep moving, as not to bring attention to themselves. Please report any suspicious activity or person to the Starkville Police Department.
