Starkville Police Search for Suspect in Carjacking/Sexual Assault Case

STARKVILLE, Miss. – (PRESS RELEASE) The Starkville Police Department is investigating a reported carjacking and sexual assault that reportedly occurred on 03/31/15 around 8:15 pm. Upon investigating the incident officers and investigators discovered that an unknown male (the suspect) solicited the victim on (backpage.com) to meet him in Starkville for sex.

The victim met the suspect at an undisclosed location and the suspect brandished a gun, took control of the victim’s car and forced her to perform sexual favors. To escape, the victim jumped from the moving vehicle and the suspect drove off.

The victim’s vehicle was later discovered abandoned at an undisclosed location in Starkville.
