Starkville Woman Accused of Filing False Police Report

STARKVILLE, Miss. – (PRESS RELEASE) On June 26, 2014, Carolyn Monroe, 47 yrs. old, of 78 O’Neal St. Crawford, MS, was arrested for filing a false police report.

On June 22, 2014, Monroe reported that a male acquaintance, at the time, raped her at America’s Best Value Inn on Hwy 12. Upon being interviewed by Detective’s, Monroe admitted that the allegations were false and that she did not want to press charges.

This was Monroe’s second rape accusation against the same subject. Bond was set at $500.00. Monroe has since bonded out.
