MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Monroe County investigators took a break today from searching for a woman who has been missing now for more than a week.

Aberdeen Police Chief Henry Randle says his department is hoping for credible evidence on where, Teresa Ewing, 26, might be.

She was last seen August 25 and since then, police, sheriff’s deputies and volunteers from several agencies have scoured the woods, lakes and river near Odd Fellows Cemetery in Aberdeen.

Her ex-boyfriend has been charged with trying to steal her truck but denies any connection to her disappearance.

Anyone with information is asked to call Aberdeen Police or Golden Triangle Crime Stoppers.
