Wednesday will be filled with lots of sun and blue skies, and a south wind will stay with us through the day. Highs will reach near 70–about 15 degrees above average!
A rain and storm chance will be with us for tonight. Scattered showers will start after midnight, but the storm chance likely won’t arrive until after 3 AM. The main threats will be gusty winds and heavy rain. However, a tornado cannot be ruled out. Storms will move out by 9 AM for most of us, and the rain chance will be over by mid-late morning as well.
More sun will return for Thursday afternoon, but highs will only be in the 50s. Plenty of sun is in store for Friday and Saturday.
Some rain looks likely Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
***Head out to the Walgreens in Tupelo that’s near the mall if you’re in the area. We’ll be there programming weather radios from 4-7 PM. If you don’t have one, you can pick one up there.
