Sulligent Man Charged With Possession

MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)- An Alabama man has been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance Marijuana. According to a press release, 47 year-old Clayborn Vaughn Stockman of Sulligent was arrested by Monroe County deputies May 3rd on Highway 8 east after a traffic stop. Deputies deployed a K-9 on the vehicle and after the K-9 gave a positive alert. Deputies recovered (2) two ounces of marijuana under the drivers seat. Clayborn Vaughn Stockman was transported to the Monroe County Detention Center. No bond has been set at this time.
