Tonight: Due to the disorganized system in the Gulf, a 20-30% chance of showers and thunderstorms continues as we head into the evening hours. This system is continuing to fuel moisture north which is providing the heavy cloud cover and chance for showers. The bulk of the rain and cloud cover should stay off to our south and east. Low temperatures begin to creep back towards the upper 60s indicating humidity is beginning to return.
Monday: As we start off our work and school week, warmer temperatures and humidity returns. Skies will be mostly cloudy and a 30-40% chance of showers and thunderstorms is expected. As you head out to the bus stop or to work, make sure to bring an umbrella in case you get caught in a stray shower. Highs should be in the middle 80s while overnight lows are expected to stay in the low 70s.
Rest of the Week: Temperatures will gradually warm up as we get further into the week. We’ll keep with the chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms each and everyday as the system in the Gulf continues to fall apart.
