Sunday: Humid conditions will continue to make it feel like 100+ in the afternoon. The daily chance for afternoon pop up showers and thunderstorms also remains in the forecast. Some of these storms could have gusty winds, lightning, and heavy downpours associated with them. Not everyone will see the rain today, but those that do may see a slight cool off in temperatures. The Perseid meteor shower will peak tonight before sunrise on Monday, but cloudy skies may obstruct your view. The best times to watch are between 10:30 PM and 4:30 AM.
Monday & Tuesday: The hot, August weather pattern will persist with afternoon highs in the low 90s and a chance for rainfall in the afternoon. The start to the work week may feel slightly cooler than past days, but it will still feel like the upper 90s. Overnight lows will drop into the low 70s.
Wednesday & The Rest of the Week: A cold front seeks to push through mid-week and cool us off slightly for the end of the week. Rain chances and temperatures will decrease for Thursday and Friday.
