Tropical Storm Karen has slowed considerably off the Louisiana coast, and is expected to make landfall late tonight and early tomorrow. Karen's track then looks to take a sharp right turn steering most of the impact away from our area. In addition, a cold front is approaching that will use some of that tropical moisture to make Sunday a soaker for NE Mississippi and West Alabama. Beyond that, the long awaited fall-like conditions return to the forecast.
Saturday: We should stay mostly dry during the daylight hours with a mix of sunshine and a few clouds. High temperatures will top out in the mid 80s. Clouds will increase during the late afternoon and evening as the cold front get closer to our area, but I still expect us to be mostly dry for the game.
