Teen Dies from Injuries Sustained in Car Crash

CORINTH, Miss. (WCBI) – Alcorn County residents are mourning the death of teenager that died from injuries he sustained in an early August car crash.

Austin Digby, 17, was in critical condition at Regional Medical Center in Memphis, Tenn. until he passed away on Tuesday.

The teenager was partially ejected from an SUV when it flipped in the parking lot of Oakland Baptist Church on Aug. 3 in Corinth.

The driver of the vehicle, Jordan McDuffy, 17, received minor injuries from the accident.

Magnolia Funeral Home of Corinth has not released any funeral arrangements at this time.
