Per July Standards, today is going to feel great! Afternoon highs will be nearly 5 degrees below average. Typically we would have afternoon highs in the low 90s, but today we’re expecting mid 80s.
Today: A spotty shower or storm will be possible around the area, but most of us will see nothing of the kind. Temperatures will continue to top out in the mid 80s and the wind will be on the light side from the WNW.
Wednesday: Much like Tuesday, a few spotty showers or storms will be possible. Plan on another day in the mid to possibly upper 80s.
4TH Of July: Showers and storms remain in the forecast for at least some of us. It continues to look like the odds will be much higher the farther east that you live. Upper 80s should be about the best we can do on the ole thermometer.
Friday – Sunday: Tropical moisture will surge back in from the southeast, and that will increase the threat of showers and storms around here. Areas of heavy rain will be possible. Highs will be in the mid 80s while lows will be in the low 70s.
