COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – It’s the week Columbus celebrates its most famous son.
The 11th annual Tennessee Williams Tribute and Tour of Victorian Homes will feature 4 performances of ” The Rose Tattoo”.
The show premieres Tuesday (9-4-12) evening, at 7:30, at Rent Auditorium, on the campus of Mississippi University for Women.
It tells the story of an Italian-American widow and has elements of tragedy and comedy.
Tickets run between 10 and 15 dollars.
Students can get in free with an I-D.
The play may not be appropriate for children under 13.
Other performances are set for Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights.
