LOWNDES COUNY, Miss. (WCBI) — The board of the revamped three-county Golden Triangle Development Link is taking shape.

Lowndes County supervisors named Columbus banker Moak Griffin, businessman Rob Graham and retired Housing Authority director Earl Weeks to the Link board. They’ll serve three-year terms.

The Columbus City Council will name a fourth Lowndes County representative. Clay and Oktibbeha counties also will have four members on the new regional board to oversee industrial recruitment in the three counties.

The new oversight board takes effect Oct. 1.
