Thursday: A cold front is slated to move through during the daylight hours and it will usher in much needed heat relief. As it moves through, scattered showers and storms are expected. Gusty winds, heavy downpours and frequent lightning are the main severe weather threats. Temperatures are forecast to be in the low 90s.
Friday & Saturday: Slightly cooler and much drier air is expected. Temperatures will top out in the upper 80s but we will all notice the lower level of humidity in the air. Low temperatures during this time frame should manage to dip back into the 60s. And will that feel good or what?
Sunday & Early Next Week: Tropical moisture will gradually return on the heels of an ESE breeze. That means afternoon showers & storms will return on a scattered basis. Afternoon highs will be back into the low 90s and overnight lows will warm into the low 70s.
