Thursday Evening Forecast

We have had a few isolated showers near Winona and the I-55 corridor today but these will fall apart after sunset.  Skies will be mostly clear to partly cloudy during the overnight hours and low temperatures will be in the low 60s in most spots.

Sunshine will mix with a few clouds during the day Friday and afternoon temperatures will climb into the mid 80s.  A stray shower is possible but we’re going to keep the forecast dry for now.  Temperatures will cool into the 70s during the evening high school football games.

Saturday will be very similar to Friday and that means things should be pretty good for the most part.  Highs will stay in the 80s.  We don’t envision any major issues in Oxford and that’s good news for those of you who may be heading out to the Texas/Ole Miss game.

Better rain chances will return Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday as upper level energy and a cold front cross the area.  Cooler and drier conditions remain on track for the middle of next week.
