Thursday Evening Forecast

After more than a week of cloudy, wet, and now snowy weather, it’s safe to say that dry conditions will prevail for many days ahead.  This is great news for our waterlogged region.  Flooding remains a problem but area river levels have either peaked or will be peaking by Friday afternoon.  Go HERE for more details.

Now onto the forecast.  Clear to mostly clear skies will rule the night and temperatures will drop into the mid 20s by daybreak.  Do be aware that black ice could be lurking on any surface that did not have a chance to dry off Thursday afternoon.

Lots of sunshine is expected on Friday and afternoon highs will range anywhere from the upper 40s to the low 50s.  Bright skies and seasonable temperatures will stick around for the weekend too!  We’ve earned it, right?

Thanks again for sharing your snow pictures with us. We can’t put all of them on the air but they sure were nice to see!
