Skies will be mostly clear during the overnight hours even though a cold front will be moving on through. Cooler air will push in from the north behind the front and that’s why we will bottom out in the mid 20s by daybreak.
Tons of sunshine is on track for our Friday but temperatures will be quite cool for this time of year. Low 40s are a good bet but some locations may only manage the upper 30s, especially north of US 78. Light northerly winds between 5 and 10 mph can be expected.
We should moderate back into the 50s on Saturday but there will be a 20% chance of a few afternoon showers. Dry skies and pleasant temperatures will close out the weekend on Superbowl Sunday.
