Partly to mostly cloudy skies will be seen across the area Thursday morning, but that will give way to more sun by this afternoon. Highs temperatures will top out in the middle 50s. That is warmer than Wednesday but still below average.
Clear skies will stay with us overnight and follow us into Friday. Expect a few clouds tomorrow, but overall there will be plenty of sun with highs back in the 60s.
Saturday and Sunday may bring some 70s.
Rain will come back into play Sunday night, and we’ll likely have a period of heavy rain and some storms overnight into Monday morning. At this point, the severe threat is still forecast to be low, but it’s of course something we have our eyes on closely.
