Partly to mostly cloudy conditions can be expected this evening and temperatures will be mainly in the 40s and upper 30s. We should cool down into the low 30s again by daybreak.
Mostly cloudy, breezy, and chilly conditions are in order for the first day of March. Afternoon highs will be in the low to mid 40s. A few light rain showers or flurries are possible during the afternoon and evening hours. Who said March 1st was the first day of meteorological spring?
Scattered snow showers or flurries will continue Friday night and into Saturday but no significant accumulations are anticipated. It’s just going to be one of those events to remind you that wintry weather can still occur this time of year. Highs on Saturday will also be in the low to mid 40s and those blustery NW winds will make it feel like the 30s all day long. Bundle up!
We’ll likely bottom out in the mid 20s Sunday morning but more sunshine by the afternoon should allow conditions to moderate back into the mid and upper 40s. Sunday will be the better day of the weekend by far.
Our next best chance of moisture will be Tuesday. Rain looks like it will be a good bet early in the day but we’ll have to watch and see how cold it gets by Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. If things cool down enough then wintry weather may become an issue once again. Right now it just bears watching.
