July heat and humidity has established itself and it really won’t be going away anytime soon. Daily rain and storm chances will continue for the next week but the best opportunity may come during the weekend. Here is the latest detailed First Alert Forecast
Today: Fair skies will be the rule to start but clouds will develop during the late morning and afternoon hours. A few of those pop-up showers & storms may form but the chance of rain will only be around 30%. If you do see rain it may come in the form of a tropical downpour. Afternoon highs will be in the low 90s but the heat index may be around 100 at times.

Friday: Additional pop-up showers and storms will be possible during the day but like Thursday the chance of rain will only be around 30%. Afternoon temperatures will be in the low 90s.
Weekend: There will be a 40% chance of rain both Saturday and Sunday. Don’t cancel your outdoor plans just yet but be sure to have backup plans if rain happens to find you. High temperatures will range from the upper 80s to low 90s while overnight lows will stay in the low 70s.
