The rest of the rain will stroll out of here by noon today and it will certainly turn pretty cool and quiet frankly cold tonight.
Thursday: Showers and clouds will linger this morning but we’ll enjoy some sunshine by the afternoon. Upper 60s expected this afternoon but some of us may squeeze out a 70 degree high if we can get enough sunshine.
Tonight: Skies will be clear with lows in the mid to upper 40s.
Friday: It will be a pleasant fall day with highs in the low 70s. Skies will be mostly sunny to start out but clouds will increase and thicken during the afternoon and evening hours. Dry conditions are expected for high school football again this week.
Saturday: There will be a lot of cloud cover in the region but the latest forecast models suggest the best rain chance will be along and south of the I-20 corridor. Temperatures around 70 in the afternoon seem reasonable. Dry weather should prevail for the college games in Oxford and Tuscaloosa.
Sunday: High pressure moves in and that means more sunshine is on tap. Highs will be in the mid 70s.
