We’ll get a brief break from the rain today and tomorrow but storms return on Saturday. Today we can plan on a good amount of sunshine, lower humidity levels and slightly below average temperatures. For July standards, I don’t think any of us will give any lip about it!
Today: A pleasant July day is in order all across the area. Skies will be mostly sunny, the humidity will be lower and afternoon highs will be in the upper 80s to around 90. That will feel quite refreshing for a summer day in Mississippi. The wind is expected to be from the north between 5 and 10 mph.
Tonight: Mostly clear skies and comfortable temperatures are in order. Overnight lows will be in the mid 60s. Typically we should be in the 70s, so yet again getting a nice little break from the summer heat.
Friday: Expect a mix of sun and clouds along with seasonably warm temperatures in the 90 degree range.
Saturday: And the rain returns! Another round of storms are likely as another disturbance crosses the South. Highs will be in the 80s.
Sunday: Partly cloudy skies should return. Highs will be in the upper 80s to around 90.
