TISHOMINGO, Miss. (WCBI) — A Tishomingo County business owner won’t get a break on an $18,000 electric bill.

Late last year, Pattie Ferguson got a big  bill from Tishomingo County Electric Power for more than two years of under billing at Pattie’s One Stop.

Ferguson asked for a break, and the utility board set up a 10-year payment plan.

Ferguson appealed, and Public Service Commissioner Brandon Presley recommended the utility only charge Ferguson for six months of underbilling, and eat the rest.

Monday, the board rejected that recommendati0n.
