Travis Outlaw Basketball Camp

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – NBA star Travis Outlaw is in town giving area children some valuable tips.

Outlaw who plays for the Sacramento Kings holds an annual basketball camp in Starkville each year. The Outlaw Basketball Camp will run for three days for a price tag of $75.00. The camp is designed to teach kids lessons both on and off the court. Using the Starkville Sports Plex as his class room, Outlaw will teach offensive and deffensive techniques for the court as well as how to be a young man who makes good descisions off the court. With his roots buried in the south he finds it important to give back to his community.

“Me growing up and never having a player in the NBA so hands on as I am, it feels good to come back and give kids what I didn’t have. I always come back and give back because they gave so much to me.”

The camp ends Thursday. For more information on how to get signed up contact Sedaria Williams at 901-591-7757.
