Clouds increased overnight, and we will see mostly cloudy to overcast skies through the day. Random, isolated showers will be seen through Tuesday morning, but nothing too heavy is expected until late morning or afternoon.
We are tracking rain to our northwest that is moving this direction as well as rain from the southwest. Rain chances amp up this afternoon and evening. Severe weather is not in the forecast, but the broken lines of rain that move through will have the potential to drop heavy rain and have gusty winds.
We are still keeping the percentage today at 70%, meaning that rain is likely, but some of you will probably manage to miss it. Rain and storms will linger through tonight into Wednesday morning.
As far as area Christmas parades go, it’s going to be wait and see. There is disagreement with forecast computer models on the timing of the rain. Where you are located in our viewing area will make a difference as well. Keep it here and on the WCBI Weather Facebook and Twitter pages for updates.
