Tupelo, Lee County Phasing Out Donations Center

TUPELO, Miss. (Press Release) — The Multi-Agency Warehouse center in Tupelo, opened to help those in the immediate days after the April 28 tornado has seen a significant reduction in requests for assistance. As a result of this the center will no longer accept donations of goods and has reduced the operation of the center to the dates and times described below:

Thursday, June 12, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. Friday, June 13, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. Thursday, June 19, closed Friday, June 20, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. June 23-27, 8 a.m.- 6 p.m. for disbursement of food to local food pantries. Thursday, July 3, 3 p.m. – 6 p.m., for pickup of furniture items left. Thursday, July 10, 3 p.m. – 6 p.m., for pickup of furniture items left. Thursday, July 17, 3 p.m. – 6 p.m., for pickup of furniture items left. Thursday, July 24, 3 p.m. – 6 p.m., for pickup of furniture items left. Thursday, July 31, 3 p.m. – 6 p.m., for pickup of furniture items left. This will be the final day of operation at the center.

Tupelo and Lee County Officials would like to thank all who made donations to the center, especially those who worked at the warehouse. Your generosity helped make a difficult situation better for all who utilized the center.
