Tupelo Looting Arrest

Tupelo, Mississippi (WCBI) – Tupelo police say he went up to a tornado damaged house in broad daylight and started property that wasn’t his.

Michael Seals, 43, is charged with looting.

Investigators say the incident happened on tornado ravaged Marquette Street. The homeowner called police Wednesday and Seals was picked up the next day.

Seals’ bond was at $35,000.

TPD says this is the first looting arrest in the city since the April 28th tornado.
