Tupelo Marching Band Contest Postponed

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) — Weather is to blame for postponing Saturday’s marching band festival in Tupelo.

School officials tell WCBI they’ve rescheduled the MHSAA marching contest for next Saturday, October 18.

Lots of rain both Friday night and Saturday morning impacted band practice areas near Tupelo High School, which are made up of dirt and grass.

The new contest schedule will be set on Monday.
