Video: Tupelo Sponsors Horsing Around Event

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) — There will be lots of horsing around this weekend in Lee County.

Tupelo is sponsoring an educational event titled Horsing Around.

The event takes place Saturday morning at the Brewer Equestrian Center, and features activities such as fishing, horseback riding and other educational opportunities.

“They can learn, maybe meet new friends, maybe not just your standard day camp, so you will get a lot of activity,” Health and Wellness Coordinator Taylor Neal said. “Learn how to ride and wear helmets and proper things like that, but you also get to fish and hang out and do some crafts.”

Admission is $10. The event targets children ages 7 to 14.
