Tupelo’s School Superintendent’s Contract Extended

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – The Tupelo School Board members are apparently pleased with Superintendent Gearl Loden’s work, they’ve extended his contract by one year.

The board made the decision in after its required annual evaluation of the superintendent.

Loden was hired last February on a four-year contract.  It now lasts through June 2017 with the same salary of $82,000

Loden was previously superintendent of the Amory School District.
