PRENTISS COUNTY, Miss. (Press Release) — Two people face enhanced punishment if convicted after being arrested for possession of ingredients to make crystal meth.

According to a release from Prentiss County Sheriff Randy Tolar, in the early morning hours of Friday, May 9, Prentiss County Narcotics investigators, North Mississippi Narcotics and Prentiss County deputies executed a search warrant at a residence on County Road 1219 and arrested two individuals on drug-related charges.

Alan Q Stephsenson, 47, and Linda Diane Morgan, 52, of 250 County Road 1219 in Booneville were charged with possession of precursors (methamphetamine) enhanced while in possession of a firearm.

Stephenson’s bond has been set at $7,500 and Morgan’s at $10,000. Both remain in custody. Morgan was arrested on methamphetamine charges in January and was free on bond pending presentation of the case to the next Grand Jury.
