Two Charged After Drug Raid

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — Two Lowndes County residents are busted on cocaine and weapons charges. The Columbus-Lowndes Narcotics Task Force says 25-year-old Damion Davis and 19-year-old Sylvia Tate were arrested after a raid on their home on Sand Road. Agents confiscated crack cocaine, a hand gun and cash. Davis is charged with possession of cocaine and felon in possession of a weapon and Tate is charged with possession of cocaine. Both remain in jail awaiting bond.
