Video: Two Columbus Men Face Aggravated Assault Charges

COLUMBUS, Miss. – (WCBI)Their late night argument led to a trip to the hospital Wednesday night, and a trip to jail Thursday.

Columbus Police charged 63-year old James Toney Jr. and 51-year old Tyrone Wilson with aggravated assault.

Bond was set at $5,000 each.

It happened around 9:15 Wednesday night, on 14th Street and 10th Avenue South in Columbus. It was there they found Toney, who’d been cut with a pocket knife.

Wilson told paramedics he needed medical treatment as well.

Both were transported to Baptist Golden Triangle, where they were treated and released to the Columbus Police custody.

Still no word on what started the brawl.
