Two Corinth Men Face Armed Robbery Charges

CORINTH, Miss. (WCBI)-Two suspects have been apprehended and face charges of Armed Robbery. Corinth Police believe 18 year-old Demarkquez Williams of Corinth is connected to an armed robbery that took place the night of August 18th where Williams allegedly robbed and shot a man he approached at the intersection of North Polk Street and Highway 2. He is also believed to be linked to an early morning armed robbery August 19th. Williams was picked up august 22nd on drug-related charges. Police say they recovered the gun used by Williams in both incidents. 19 year-old Devon Collins of Corinth is also charged and believed to be a second suspect in the incident on August 18th. Williams bond is set at $75,000. Collins bond is set at $50,000.
