Two Detained After a Thursady Robbery

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – Tupelo police detained two suspects in connection with a Thursday afternoon robbery.

Authorities were alerted around 1:45 p.m. to a robbery that had taken place at a  Spring Mart on Eason Boulevard at Highway 45. The victim was injured after being smacked with a handgun.

A description of the get-a-away car was given to police which led them to the suspects in custody.

A third suspect is believed to be involved with the incident.

The identities of the suspects are not being released at this time.

More information on the case will be released on the case later Friday when charges are expected to be filed.
