Video: Two Injured in Alcorn Co. Crash

ALCORN COUNTY, Miss. (PRESS RELEASE) – The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating a late Friday evening crash in Alcorn County that left 2 Burnsville men in critical condition.

Troopers responded to the crash at approximately 11:15 p.m., on US 72, just east of the city limits of Corinth.

Upon arriving it appeared Matthew Linton, 26, of Burnsville, was traveling east bound when he apparently lost control of his 1988 Toyota 4-runner, causing the vehicle to overturn several times.

Linton and a passenger, Billy Lambert, 50, of Burnsville, were both ejected from the vehicle during the crash.

They were both transported to the MED in Memphis by air ambulance. They are listed in critical condition with life threatening injuries.

Neither the driver nor passenger were wearing a seat belt.
