Two Teens Hit By Car In Lowndes County

Lowndes County, Mississippi – (WCBI) – Two teenagers are hit by a car while walking down Highway 373 in Lowndes County.

It happened just before 9 P.M. Tuesday, near Mike Parra Road.

Deputies and the Mississippi Highway Patrol searched the area for evidence. Investigators were looking for a silver Honda Accord, possibly a 1998 model, with a missing passenger side mirror.

The two victims managed to walk to their home nearly a half mile away from the scene before emergency responders were called. They were taken to Baptist Golden Triangle with non-life-threatening injuries.

State troopers are investigating the incident.
