Under 12 Girls Soccer Team Recognized for Championship Victory

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — A Columbus youth soccer team is honored for one championship, and has its eye on more.

The Columbus City Council recognized the Under 12 girls team which recently won the Division C state title. The girls showed off their championship cup and were presented medals for their accomplishment.

The team will compete in the Mississippi State Games later this month.
