NEW ALBANY, MISS. (WCBI) –  North Mississippians got a taste of what life was like in the early 20th century. The Union County Heritage Museum hosted it’s annual Pioneer Days event, which attracted many to New Albany. Visitors saw what life was like hundreds of years ago. Demonstrations were shown by reenactors, volunteers and museum staff members.
Live music, how to cut wood with a crosscut saw and even corn shucking were just a few activities participants enjoyed. No matter the age, there was sure to be an activity for everyone.

“To come here and have a really good time and it was the best time I had,” said visitor, Morgan Greer.

The exhibits were free of charge and open to the public.
