Video: United Way Sets Lofty Fundraising Goal

TUPELO, Miss. – (WCBI) The bar is set for the United way of Northeast Mississippi, and the City of Tupelo is starting its push to help the group.

The public service clearinghouse is seeking to raise more than $2.4 million in its annual campaign.

Fund raising chairs say this past year was a trying one for the United Way and its partners because of the added expense of tornado recovery efforts on top of the groups normal funding efforts.

The United Way of Northeast Mississippi provides funding to 69 different groups across seven counties in Northeast Mississippi
