Verona Police Chief to Resign

VERONA, Miss. (WCBI) — Verona will go into December looking for a new police chief.

Current Verona Police Chief Anthony Anderson told the Board of Aldermen Tuesday night that he was resigning the position at the end of November.

Anderson did not specify why he was leaving the post he has held since February 2012.

The city is in the process of naming an interim chief.
