Columbus,MS(WCBI)-Downtown Columbus is buzzing with holiday cheer this evening. After Mother Nature rained it out last week, the 10th Annual Wassail Fest is in full swing tonight. WCBI’s Michelle Lowe has spent her afternoon with revelers and has more.

Wassail fest in downtown Columbus was a huge hit this year.
Hosted by Columbus Main Street, local businesses kept their doors open late this evening for the annual event.
Free spiced cider and great deals were offered to revelers.
Participating businesses used their own unique recipes for the cider drink.
Shoppers cast their votes for their favorite.
The winner will be announced next week.
The Rosenzweig Arts Council not only served the spicy toddy, they also opened the floor for a showcase, featuring Lowndes County artists who attended MUW.
