Video: Amory Railroad Festival Continued Friday

AMORY, Miss. – (WCBI) The smell of apple fritters continued to waft through the air of Amory Friday.

It was day two of the 36th Annual Amory Railroad Festival.

The festival features music, a carnival, car and truck show, the Frisco market, a 5 k run Saturday morning and a railroad hobo campfire.

The event celebrates Amory’s history. The town was built by railroads because of it is located halfway between Memphis and Birmingham.

The festival wraps up Sunday evening.
