Video: Amory Regional Museum Celebrates City’s Railroad Past In Miniature

Amory, Miss. (WCBI) – It’s a chance to see what put Amory on the map…In Miniature. Randy Hollis, an Amory native who now lives in Baton Rouge, is loaning an extensive collection of model trains and layouts to the Amory Regional Museum.

The collection is made up largely of “G Scale” trains, with many that are more than 70 years old.Amory was built as a railroad town, and celebrates that heritage with the Amory Railroad Festival April 10th through the 13th.

The model train exhibit runs through May fifteenth. You can see it at The Amory Regional Museum  Tuesdays through Sundays.
